prevents 100% of dust mite allergens and cat dander from passing through.
The
anti allergy mattress, duvet and pillow cases are fully zipped and the zips have back panels to prevent any venting out of
allergens.

find that their allergy symptons soon return when staying away from home, for the simple reason that the beds they are
sleeping in have not been protected from dust mite contamination and can be full of harmful allergens.
The Astex® "Pristine" Travel range is an ideal solution. Designed as conventional
fitted sheets they are easy to fit. They can be quickly placed over a hotels existing sheets or between the hotel's bed
linen and mattress - which ever is the easiest and more comfortable for the traveller.
Warning
These covers
are not full encasements, nor are they treared so they are not an alternative to our fully protective Astex®
"Pristine" encasement covers or our Astex® "Active"
treated guards. They will protect the user from the worst of the allergens found in hotel beds but as they are not fully
encasing they will allow some allergens to vent out from the undersurface of the mattress leading to some limited exposure.
This limited exposure is normally acceptable short term, but not acceptable long term. So whilst ideal for holiday
periods, do not use at home. Instead use either Astex® "Pristine" Anti
Allergy Encasements or Astex® "Active" Anti Allergy Guards which
are designed to provide maximum secure protection for long term use.

Anti Allergy Bedding
Astex® "Active" Anti Allergy Bedding covers are unique in that they directly
kill house dust mites.
Tested by the London
School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Astex® "Active" covers
quickly kill the dust mites in mattresses, duvets and pillows leaving them clean and very quickly allergen free. Any dust
mites landing on the bed will be quickly killed.

Anti Allergy Bedding covers work for up to two years after which they should be replaced.

and cool to sleep on, are safe to use and carry the BAF seal of approval. NB Hot washing and drying
impairs effectiveness. In the event of an accident, sponge clean the covers with lukewarm water.
